Mamdani's NYC Parks Launch One-Night Free Childcare For 500 Kids
The one-time pilot runs August 16, 4 to 8 p.m., at select recreation centers for children ages 6 to 13 citywide.
- Registration opens Monday, July 13 and closes Monday, July 20, one location per family.
- NYC Parks staff will run sports, arts and crafts, and Ranger-led nature programs.
- Dinner is included, co-announced by Mayor Mamdani and Parks Commissioner Tricia Shimamura.
