Iran Strikes Kuwait's Oil, Power And Desalination Plants Overnight
Kuwait's Foreign Ministry accused Tehran of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, calling the overnight barrage a direct threat to civilian lives.
- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reported significant material losses at a hit facility, per KUNA.
- Zour South's transformer was hit Friday, then struck again in Saturday's overnight barrage.
- Al-Subiya power station and an army base were also hit; several soldiers were injured.
Why it matters: A country that drinks only what one plant produces has no shelter once that plant becomes a target.
