Zelensky Adds Soboliev To Economic Team, Tasks Set With Budanov
Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine's military intelligence, helped define the assignment: broaden support for producers across every level of the economy.
- Oleksiy Soboliev joins the Office of the President's economic track, Zelensky said Friday, July 17.
- Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukraine's HUR military intelligence agency, co-defined Soboliev's task list.
- Zelensky named the priority: support for producers at every level of the economy.
Why it matters: When a spy chief co-writes economic tasks, the chain of command, not the ministry chart, runs the economy.
