Bethesda Trains Junior Sailors To Write Their Own Merit
On July 15, NMRTC Bethesda's Junior Enlisted Association walked E1 to E6 sailors through the SARI method for evaluations at Walter Reed.
- Chief Hospital Corpsman Davonte McCraven led the July 15, 2026 session at Walter Reed.
- He taught SARI: Situation, Action, Results and Impact, for phrasing achievements on paper.
- McCraven told sailors every rank below them is their responsibility, and to inform those above.
Why it matters: A board that reads paragraphs promotes the sailor who writes well, not the one who heals well.
