EU And India's Third Trade Council Targets 2027 Ratification
Henna Virkkunen, Maroš Šefčovič, S Jaishankar and Piyush Goyal met in Brussels to align policy on AI, semiconductors and clean energy.
- Brussels and New Delhi pledged speedy ratification of the free trade pact, not yet in force.
- Working Group 1 covers strategic technologies, digital governance and digital connectivity between the two blocs.
- Both sides committed to finalizing the TTC's institutional upgrade by the end of 2026.
