Trump Recounts Final Call With Graham On Meet The Press
Speaking to Kristen Welker on NBC's Sunday show, the president described their last phone conversation before Graham's death.
- Graham, 71, died Saturday, July 11, 2026, days before Trump's NBC appearance.
- Trump told Welker their final call focused on the stalled SAVE America Act.
- Trump used the phrase 'a tough one to lose' to describe Graham's death.
Why it matters: A president's on-air account becomes the record; investigators work around it, not the reverse.
