Trump Says Iran Agreed To Give Up Everything, Then Struck Anyway
He offered no document, only his own account: two hours after the alleged deal, a drone hit the vessel in Hormuz.
- Trump revealed the claim during a CNN State of the Union interview on July 12.

- No text, signatory or third party has confirmed a deal ever existed.
Why it matters: A deal known only through the word of the man who broke it is not yet a fact.
