YouTube Adds Amazon To Its Creator Affiliate Shopping Program
Eligible US creators can now tag Amazon products directly inside Shorts, longform videos and livestreams to earn commissions.
- Travis Katz, YouTube's GM and VP of Shopping, announced the expansion on August 27, 2026.
- Only eligible US creators enrolled in the Shopping Affiliate Program can tag Amazon listings.
- Product tagging now works across Shorts, longform videos and livestreams, YouTube's three main formats.
Why it matters: YouTube now earns a commission on what creators sell, not just on the attention they draw.
